Fallingwater
Fallingwater is a waterfront community on the banks of Squaw Creek in Glen Rose, Texas. The name
“Fallingwater” symbolizes the series of waterfalls that we constructed on the creek. These waterfalls were inspired by the famous waterfall design at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. In total, nine waterfalls were built, providing the soothing sound of falling water from virtually all of the 25 waterfront home sites.
In keeping with the falling water theme, the security entrance gate spews an eight foot high waterfall from the middle of its face. Natural landscaping surrounds the catch basin for the waterfall. A man-made pond, stocked with bass, was build to the right of the front gate.
Deed restrictions encourage nature-loving residents to stroll the creek by designating the creek as a
free-access area. Additional restrictions discourage any tree clearing or the construction of dwellings that do not blend with the natural setting.
The most dramatic feature of our model home is a 400 square foot patio, built from natural stone dug from the ground nearby. Shaded by a 300 year old live oak tree, the patio provides a view of four of our natural stone waterfalls. |
