Our Leaders

Stephen S. Smith
Mr. Smith is the principal owner and chief visionary for the company. His role is to develop the concepts for the Company and to help secure the assets the Company uses to accomplish its mission. His primary career is in the investment management industry where he is the Founder and CEO of Smith Group Asset Management. He has volunteer leadership positions in a number of environmentally-oriented organizations. His education includes an engineering degree and an M.B.A., both from the University of Alabama.

Ed Frawley
Ed Frawley is the President and chief operating officer of EverGreen Land Co. In this role he manages the day-to-day operations of the company. His experience includes over 25 years in the management of land planning and landscape projects. For twelve years ending in early 2007, he was owner and president of High Tech Turf, a company with many land usage successes in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. With the merger of that company and EverGreen Land Co., Ed assumed his current position. His education includes numerous post graduate courses in land usage topics and a math/science degree from Corning Community College.

Cherelle Blazer
Ms. Blazer is the head of environmental projects for the Company. In this role, she is responsible for the environmental science aspect of all projects involving the Company. She is also the Company’s public liaison with environmental groups and public officials with which the Company works She has an extensive background in significant environmental projects, including the Artic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), water usage rights in the Pacific Northwest, and land development in the Texas Hill Country. Her education includes a B.S. degree in Forestry Management from Southern University and an M.S. degree from Yale University in Environmental Science.
